4th Quarter 2012 Home Prices

The 4th quarter was a bit of a mixed bag for Southern Davis County home prices. Five zip codes increased their median sales price, while 5 zip codes went down in value. If we look at all of Davis County the median home price increased 4.64% to $203,000. The number of single value homes sold saw a substantial tick-up to 853 homes sold up 18.31%. Homes were also selling faster with the median days on market falling over 46% to 48 days.

The best performing areas were Woods Cross 84087 up 10.62%, Clearfield 84015 up 8.11% and Bountiful 84010 up 8.11%. The worst performing areas were North Salt Lake 84054 down 4.66% and Layton 84040 down 4.89%.
