3rd Quarter 2012 Home Prices
Just like Salt Lake and Utah County, Davis County home prices experienced good gains in the 3rd quarter 2012. The median home price for a single family home in Davis County went up 8.20% in the third quarter. The new median home price was $198,000, with a total home sold of 7296. The median days on market also improved and now stands at 41 days, a drop of 41.43% compared to the same period last year.
Southern Davis County saw gains across the board with the exception of Centerville 84014 which did suffer a slight decline of 0.63%. All the other zip codes saw their median home price increase, with most of them seeing double digit increases. The best performing areas were both in Layton with 84041 up 21.10% and 84040 up 17.02%.
