2nd Quarter 2012 Home Prices
Unlike Salt Lake County which experienced good home sales in the 2nd Quarter, Southern Davis County was a bit of a mixed bag. The median home price in a total of six areas went up, with Layton 84040 going up the most with a 17.91% increase. Four areas went down, but at least none of those saw a double digit decline.
If we look at all of Davis County, the median home price increased 3.45% to just under $200,000, at $199,900. Homes sold saw a big jump, going up 13.53%, with 881 single family homes sold. While homes are not selling as fast as Salt Lake County, they still showed a major improvement, with the median days on market dropping 46% to 49 days.
