Davis County home price appreciation slowed in the 3rd quarter 2014, rising just 1.32% to $230,000. While prices showed signs of slowing, there was a surprise in the home sales number which actually increased more than 10%, to 1170 sales. Those homes that did sell were taking longer to sell, with the median days on market increasing 39.29% to 39 days.
The best performing area in Southern Davis County was Kaysville which returned a healthy 13.85% increase in the median sales price. Of the 3 zip codes that declined Woods Cross performed the worst, declining 5.71%.
