Davis County single family homes experienced modest gains in the first quarter 2014, with the median home sales price increasing 6.10% to $221,750. While prices did increase, home sales were actually slightly down, declining 7.52%. Those homes that did sell also took longer to sell, taking a median of 71 days, a 65.12% increase over the same time last year.
If we look at the sales data for the southern part of the county just one of the 10 zip codes saw their sales price decline(Centerville 84014 went down 3.69%). All the remaining zip codes saw increases with Kaysville 84037 topping the list with a 23.02% gain.
