1st Quarter 2013 Home Prices
Median home prices trended up in Davis County in the 1st quarter 2013. Most zip codes located in the south part of the county saw increases in their median home price, with the Layton area performing especially well (84040 up 18.84% and 84041 up 21.71%). The only two zip codes that declined in value were Farmington 84025 (down 5.64%) and Kaysville 84037 (down 3.23%).
If we examine the data for the entire county, we see that all the keu indicators were heading in the right direction. Homes were selling more than twice as fast as the same time last year, with the median days on market falling from 98 days to 45 days. Total homes sold were up 19.08%, and the median home price climbed 11.31%.
