4th Quarter 2013 Home Prices
All but one zip code saw their median home sales price increase in the 4th quarter 2013. The median price for a single family home stood at $245,000 in the 4th quarter, with 2,544 homes sold. While a 11.36% home price increase is nothing to be sniffed at, things did slow in the quarter, with home sales and home sales prices declining compared to the previous quarter.
The best performing areas in the quarter were Sandy 84070 up 36.94%, Holladay 84124 up 28.04% and Taylorsville/Murray 84123 up 25.68%.
