3rd Quarter 2009 Home Prices
Home prices for the third quarter 2009 continued to decline in Salt Lake County. All but three zip codes saw their home prices go down, with the largest fall in South Jordan (84095), whose prices fell 16.55% year on year. Three zip codes did see home prices rise, Holladay 84124 increased 6.5%, Taylorsville 84123 increased 7.66% and Holladay 84117 increased 10.67%.
If you look at quarter on quarter data (see second quarter 2009 home prices), things look a little more rosy. Thirteen zip codes actually increased in value, while 18 declined in value. This data reflects the recent uptick in demand we have experienced over the last few months.
