While home sales climbed in the first quarter 2010, it was not enough to stop Salt Lake County home prices falling 8.82% to $217,000. While the vast amount of zip codes declined in value, there were some bright spots. The most notable of these was upmarket area of Holladay 84124, which saw the number of homes sold increased 94% and the median home increased 25.77%. The zip code hit the hardest was the Salt Lake City suburb 84102, which saw its median home price drop of 22%.
