History of Holladay
Holladay gained its name from the leader of the group of pioneers who discovered the area in 1847. Fuelled by the favourable agrecultural land the settlement grew steadily during the early years. Holladay remained an unicorporated area of Salt Lake County until 1999 when it was incorporated and became Holladay City.
Today Holladay has become one of the most desirable and thus most expensive areas of the Salt Lake Valley, with many homes in the one million dollar range.
